10 years ago, Cody Dock was a neglected dump & with the help of local residents & 7000 volunteers has transformed into a vibrant community space in east London. I’ve previously given animation workshops to local school children there & leapt at the chance to animate the proposal for For the Cody Dock Rolling Bridge – an iconic structure that would re-activate the bridge for the 1st time in 50 years for use by boats & pedestrians. It would also be the 1st truly rolling bridge in the world!

Here’s the crowdfunding video featuring my animation. A bit ropey in places but I animated 37.5 seconds in 14 hours!
The Rolling Bridge has recieved a lot of media attention & I’ve given many interviews along with the Cody Dock team to promote the need to fund the bridge. It also recieved £40,000 from the Mayor of London but needed to raise a total of £200,000 to be realized.
